What’s up Nerds!
I’m finishing up this web comic themed week with my favorite reads right now. Don’t worry I have a little bit in different categories so welcome to my curated list, no repeats on this list!4
Fantasy Romance
This genre has your typical royalty: kings, queens, grand dukes and duchesses. There is also some kind of magical element.
The Last Straw
This one is interesting so far. I am enjoying the female lead but man her family (minus her sister) is trash.
My Sweet Enemy, Thy Name is Husband
I love the male lead! He clearly loves the female lead and he has a secret I’m hoping we can discover it soon.
I Raised a Black Dragon
I was a little, just a little disappointed at the ending. However it is fitting considering the personality of the FL and ML.
The Golden Light of Dawn
Man I cannot stand how hostile the female lead acts. Her temper is keeping her from seeing the truth.
Falling for the Enemy
This one was sweet. Just nice and sweet.
His Majesty’s Proposal
The female lead went through a lot for originally not wanting to be in a relationship. But she held it down!
Your Throne
Medea is the most strategic thinker I have ever read through. I love her and want her to win it all.
Modern Romance
This genre has a setting that is more akin to our own reality. So the story could take place at a school, in a workplace or even in a different time period. Most of the stories will have either students or young adults navigating their work life.
Yu Sheng, Don’t Run Away
This one was so cute! Yu Sheng really grows as this one comes to its end.
The Man’s Game
I didn’t know if I was going to like this one, but I enjoyed it.
200% in Love
I love this one! The FL and ML work at a gaming studio and they play together on a company wide MMRPG. It’s cute and gave me all the gaming feels.
Nice to Meet You
I really liked this story because it was different. I was definitely rooting for their happy ending.
D.O.T.
This one is for my KPop lovers. I feel for anyone in this industry, I can’t imagine the work they have to put into being an idol.
Before We Knew It
This one was a favorite of mine for a long time. It’s centered around an editor and her author and their interactions together. It’s a slow burn but worth it.
Today With You
This one is ongoing and we’re FINALLY getting somewhere with the leads.
Thriller
Sometimes I like to switch it up and read a nice psychological thriller. There’s deceit, death, and I would read with caution! This genre is not for the faint hearted
Eyes Closed
Man this one was a ride. There were so many twists and turns that I was completely taken aback. Pacing picks up after the first 5 or so episodes.
A Small Lie
I would gasped audibly multiple times while reading this. Like I couldn’t believe what was going on.
Yeona
I really enjoyed this one. This gives more suspense. You feel for the female lead as her story unfolds.
#Killstagram
Yeah this one was crazy. Every time I read an episode I realized I could not trust ANYBODY.
The Guy Upstairs
I am still trying to read this one. The female lead and her friend can be a little hard to read, but I just want to see what this guy does and who he’s really after.
That’s the list! I hope you can find something on this list that you enjoy. Feel free to drop your favorite in the comments or let me know what else I should read. Keep Nerding out!
