Top 5 Scariest Enemies in Breath of the Wild

So we all know BOTW has some awesome and somewhat creepy creatures in the game. (And some creepy characters, have you guys seen Kilton??) I know Halloween is over, but I couldn’t resist sharing in finding some scary creatures So here is my list of the creepiest and scariest creatures you can meet in the game. Also I’m only including enemies that I have personally seen and beaten in the game. Since I haven’t completed it yet, no Calamity or Beast Ganon.

SN: I also will not be choosing any of the Blights on this list as that would just be too easy.

5. Silver Bokoblin

To start it off I have the Silver Bokoblin. While one can argue that all Bokoblins are rather creepy, it was the Silver Bokoblin that continues to give me a run for my money. This is also the first Silver creature I ever fought and it’s the one I see most frequently. I was too surprised when I saw how much health this thing took away after one hit. While all of these are not based on their strength, the Silver Bokoblin was one I definitely have to watch out for.

4. Thunder Wizzrobe

Even though I hated fighting them I always liked the thunder wizards of the LOZ games and BOTW is no different. The thunder Wizzarobe always made me really work when battling them. The fact that they can just hover around in the air and kill you from a distance especially early in the game was scary and made me use alternate ways to defeat them.

3. Stalhorse

While not an enemy that would necessarily fight me, I love how Stallhorses look. Yes, I know you see skeletal Bokoblins and the rest of the common enemies, but I was so excited when I saw one in the wild for the first time. I think it’s bogus that you can’t register one at the stables, but at least we can ride them.

2. Lynel

Lynels are scary and ferocious. They are ferociously scary. I always happen to stumble across these at the worst times, like right when I’ve used my last meal to totally replenish my hearts. Or when I’ve just climbed a mountain and I have no stamina left to run. But man they are super strong. REALLY happy the developers didn’t decide to make a Stalynel.

  1. Guardian Stalker

And my number one goes to the Guardian Stalker. Now granted these foes become a lot easier to beat once you’ve leveled up and gotten some equipment. However I cannot tell you the absolute fear I feel every single time one of these spots me out of nowhere. This is the only time there is like a super specific song to let you know, “Hey you better watch out, cuz you probably won’t survive if this laser hits you.” And honestly as if these things weren’t scary enough, they just had to add multiple legs. Like does it really need to look like a spider chasing me at like 20 miles an hour???! This is why it takes the top spot of my scariest enemies list.

That’s all I got for you today! Let me know which enemies make your list from BOTW. See you tomorrow! Peace!
