Mommy Post: Intentionality

What’s up everyone! Merry almost Christmas! We are two days from Christmas and I am beyond excited!

This is the very first Christmas with my son and I have to say it, yes he is already one of the best Christmas presents a girl could have. That kid has already brought so much joy and happiness into my life. It’s amazing how much you can love such a little person. He’s still a little too young to really care about toys and stuff, but he is loving our Christmas tree and lights!

One thing my little one has taught me as I’ve gotten ready for Christmas is being intentional. Intentional with my time especially. He is seriously growing up so fast! And while it’s so exciting to see the milestones he is hitting each week, it’s more important that I take care to document and enjoy these moments. So this Christmas season take the time to think about who you are spending time with. If you haven’t seen your cousins all year and you miss them, make time for them. Invite them over, go see them before the holidays really get started. Hangout with your friends after all the holiday buzz. The point is, you just want to be intentional about your time.

Life is too short to spend time with people you don’t love spending time with. We have all year to work and do tasks we don’t care about. Let the holidays be reserved for you giving your best to those that care about you most.

But thanks so much for reading! Have a Merry Christmas, Happy holidays and Happy New Year! See you in 2020!
